Motorized Lab Jack – Robot Spotlight
Our president, Bob Elliott, demonstrates one of our custom robots – this one can be operated by a child. It’s our Motorized Lab Jack.
This custom instrument is a fun machine! Deceptively simple, it can complete a variety of different complex tasks.
For example, one of our customers had a heated reactor that needed to be positioned inside a radioactive hot cell at different times during a synthesis. The reactor needed to be moved both horizontally and vertically to different stations in the hot cell.
The Motorized Lab Jack Can Be Operated By A Child
To meet this need, J-KEM made an automated robot that can be operated remotely, even by a child!
