Filter Weighing Station

Runs five parallel groups of samples (100 filters/exp). A Vacuum dries the filters at programmed temperatures analyzing for weight changes of 0.1 micrograms over the course of multiple days.

4-Axis SCARA and 6-axis articulating arm robots perform intricate motions to load, pour, mix, or otherwise manipulate samples with the dexterity of a human hand

Optically guided gripper images the filter’s edge, assuring the filter is picked up at the same point every time.
